
National Power Supply Public Company Limited (NPS) revealed its operating results for the first quarter of 2025, which were significantly higher than the previous quarter after the major maintenance of Power Plant 7 was completed as planned, enabling the power plant to operate and manage fuel costs at full efficiency since the end of February. Meanwhile, the demand for electricity and water from industrial customers continued to grow in line with the number of Foreign industrial customers investment in 304 Industrial Park, reflecting the potential of the area and the readiness of power and utilities from NPS to support the expansion of the industrial sector.

Mr. Yothin Dumnernchanvanit, President, “NPS” “At Q1/2025, NPS has started commercial operations of it’s 111 MW floating solar power plant and when the project is completed by June 2025, NPS will have a floating solar power generation capacity of 157 MW. In addition, during Q1/2025, NPS has also established a transportation group company to provide logistics services, which will mainly use EV Trucks. Currently, there are 215 EV Trucks and 9 charging stations. The EV Trucks will mainly use electricity generated from solar energy, which will greatly support the country’s clean energy policy and greenhouse gas emission reduction.”
In addition, NPS has already used the funds raised from the debenture issuance on April 21-24, 2025 to redeem the NPS258A debentures ahead of schedule in accordance with the Company's stated objectives. As a result, NPS will not have any debenture debt to repay in the next 1 year, supporting its strong financial position and continuous business agility.
